NURSERY

Children are a valued part of our faith community and our nursery provides a safe, secure and loving place for them while you participate in Sunday morning worship. Our nursery is run by volunteers who love engaging with and caring for children!

CHILDREN UP TO AGE 3 ARE INVITED TO OUR NURSERY

INFANTS

We have a separate nursery space just for our infants & crawlers with loving and capable volunteers to look after them.

TODDLERS

In the toddler area there are a lot of toys, books and fun to be had! The nursery also has its own washroom for those who are potty training.

QUIET ROOM

A separate quiet room is available for children to take a nap or for nursing mothers to feed their baby.

Caring for your children is a responsibility that we take seriously. Here are some of the things that we have in place to ensure the safety of all of the kids in our care.

  • All volunteers have recently completed a Vulnerable Persons Police Check through the Chatham-Kent Police Service before working in the nursery.

  • There is quick access to an Emergency Exit and a Fire Safety Plan in place should the need arise.

  • We have a team of caring individuals who monitor the halls during our worship services to accompany children to the washroom or to find their parents in the service if the need should arise.

  • Grace Church has a Safe Church Policy to ensure the safety of our children.

Keeping our Kids Safe

What the Space looks like

New to Grace?

  • Our nursery is located on the lower level in the north/east corner of the building.

  • You can sign in your child at the nursery before the service begins and you'll be given a number to present after the service to pick up your child.
